Growth Tendril / Hydrodynamics FICCO

At KENPOKU ART 2016, Yoichiro Kawaguchi will screen CG artworks. As his vision of art as being self-replicable on cyberspace suggests, these works are not mere animation of sequenced images. They are made by a self-replication algorithm. One of his works depicts the movement of an organic creature, similar to a centipede, and the other captures the movement of liquid particles colliding with each other in a structure resembling ancient ruins. Kawaguchi’s animation is a simulation of the survival of future life forms, thus a representation of self-replicating life energy.
